



Fudge
Foolproof Dark Chocolate Fudge: Ingredients: 3 - 6oz. packages semi sweet chocolate chips (3 cups), 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle brand Sweetened Condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk), dash of salt, 1/2 - 1 cup chopped nuts (optional), 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract. In a heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk and salt. Remove from heat; stir into nuts and vanilla. Spread evenly into wax paper-lined 8 or 9" square pan. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off paper and cut into squares. Store loosely covered at room temperature. (Microwave directions) - In 1-quart glass measure cup, combine chips with sweetened condensed milk and salt. Cook on 100% power (high) for 3 minutes or until chips melt, stirring every 1 1/2 minute. Stir in remaining ingredients. Proceed as above. |
