Hello all! I have been away for a few months, and haven't kept up with the site as much as I would have liked to.

We are overhauling the site design and development this fall, as well as including the new non-alcoholic section with information on sports drinks, coffee shops, and more.

Keep sending us recipes, as we WILL add them to the site in the meantime.

Cheers to the end of a good summer, and the start of a new fall season.

Happy Easter to those of you celebrating next week.

We have added a few new recipes in the "Baked Goods" section including "Zuiche Crust" donated by Shirley Bollinger.

An issue was brought to my attention recently concerning the safely of Vitamin supplements. Apparently not all herbs are harvested in a pure manner, and not all multivitamins and supplements are safe for Celiacs. One such place to find supplements that are guaranteed GF is at:

www.LuckyVitamin.com

With the growing number of GF beers becoming available on the market today, there comes the issue of deciding which ones are worth trying. You can read more about the available varieties from the local GF beer festival

Hello all! As spring approaches, we welcome another warm season of fun with friends and family, and the opportunity to reconnect with the long dormant outdoors.

St. Patrick's day is March 17. Check out Mike's Bar for your favorite beverages, and which beers are OK to dye green!

Plans are in the works to revamp the look and style of the site sometime in the fall of 07', but in the meantime we ask all of our subscribers to keep those recipes and news tidbits coming! You can email me via the link on every page of this site, or use our forums to submit your own thoughts, knowledge, and questions concerning Gluten-Free Drinks and recipes.

Thanks!

In response to queries concerning GF beer, and after doing some research and a little correspondance, we have some new information for you.

There are currently two available beers that are made from Sorghum hopps, and are intended for those with Gluten-free and wheat-free diets.

Bard's Tale Beer "Dragon's Gold" has been available for a little while now, and claims to be 100% GF. I have yet to try it personally, but have been told by a close friend who is not a Celiac that it resembles a "honey lager" in flavor. You can read more about it and visit their site, which comes with a handy national "store locator" for your convenience here: http://www.bardsbeer.com/

Anheuser-Busch, despite ignoring our inquiries into the subject (they wouldn't want free advertising would they?), has recently announced national availability of their new Redbridge beer, which is also GF. They are listing it as a "hearty, full-bodied lager brewed using imported Hallertau and domestic Cascade hops." You can read more about it here: http://beeradvocate.com/news/

I hope everyone has a blast Sunday night, and please stay safe and don't drive!! Even if you don't mind the DUI, those of us on the sidewalks will appreciate it :)

We recently posted some information about "Silent Celiac Disease" and non-alcoholic fatty liver syndrome on our forums taken from our friends at Gluten Free Works. Check it out if you haven't.

If you haven't seen our store updates, check out the available sweatshirts and hoodies with our GF logos. We can also print them on ANY article of clothing you desire given the lead time - just email us! (we have to pay for this site again soon haha).

Happy New Year all, see you in 2007!!

Happy Holidays everyone from your friends at GlutenFreeDrinks.com!

Let me apologize for the delays in getting our site ready for the holidays. Life has been a little hectic lately :) We have added drink recipes for the holidays (view them HERE), and several of our Clothing designs are now available for order.

Some of the Hoodies, full-zip Hoodies, crew neck sweatshirts, and long-sleeve shirts are in stock and ready to ship. We are offering our available designs on ANY garment in ANY size however, allowing extra time for a custom order. Check out our "STORE" section for details.

If you make ANY purchases from Amazon.com, our affiliate GF food vendors, or purchase GF clothing from our store, proceeds will go directly to funding this site. Just use the search engine for Amazon or click the links from any of our affiliates in the "store" section, and their site will remember you while you continue to shop as long as you do not close your browser window. A small percentage of your total will be refunded to us, and your purchases help support maintaining this site and its resources. Thanks for your help!

Thanksgiving is fast approaching. Make sure you check those turkey brands carefully as some farms inject their turkeys with a liquid to make them juicier, and it may not be Gluten-free!

Need a warm drink for the holiday? Check out our fall list HERE.

We have added the following new sections under the baking tab: dressings, meats, salads, soups, sauces, baking mixes. Many of the baking sections have new recipes added as well.

Sorry about the delay in our T-shirts folks, but we are ironing out the wrinkles this week, and should have ordering ability up by next week. Stay tuned!

The new menus and NA sections are under construction, but I spent a significant amount of time this weekend networking with GF orgs around the world.

The Orgs/Suppliers section has new additions and many listings have had their information updated.

Hello all you crazy GF people!

I wanted to let you all know that we are adding a bunch of new stuff and some snazzzzzzy new menus and resources to the site in the very near future. We also have some exciting partnerships arising with GF vendors, home-delivered GF catering services, and a T-shirt company that will be providing the site with some cool GF T-shirt designs I've been playing with.

Thanks and keep in touch!

After hearing rumors recently that Anheuser-Busch Inc. was allegedly developing a Glutenfree beer made of Sorgum, I began to investigate.

An article on the subject from Brewblog.com read "attending a support group in the St. Louis area were recently given samples of an experimental gluten-free beer developed by Anheuser-Busch, according to Segura, of Lakefront.

Anheuser-Busch has not begun test marketing a gluten-free beer, "although the category is of interest to us," said Pat McGauley, vice president of innovations/new products, in a statement."

Searching Anheuser-Busch's website I didn't find any information in their news sections, but email them I did and we shall see what their official response is

GlutenFreeDrinks.com news section is born! The site is slowly getting a design and functionality overhaul. Stay tuned for weekly news updates in the GF community.

Exciting things are happening with GlutenFreeDrinks.com! Our Myspace community has grown tremendously over the last two months, and other networking avenues will be in place shortly.

I am working hard to create some new interactive menus for the bar and baking sections. As much as I'd like to do it in Flash for some snazzy graphics and actions, I want to keep this site as simple as possible and mainly in HTML so that anyone can view the information from any old shoddy PC.
